Who Should Oversee Your Pool Admissions Staff?

QUESTION:

“Does the person who oversees your pool staff also oversee your admissions staff?”

Answer 1:

It seems to be fairly standard to oversee it all and possibly have coordinators under you who separate out specific responsibilities such as front desk ops versus pool programming.

Answer 2:

Our outdoor pools (satellite locations) admissions staff report to the same supervisors that handle admissions to our indoor facilities (rec centers). They handle scheduling and staffing.

We used to oversee our own outdoor pool cashiers but we usually ended up having the same cashiers that worked inside for our front desk operations work outside for us as well. It became easier for everyone from a scheduling perspective to have them under one department.

Answer 3:

I oversee 3 facilities, however each facility has it's own manager and assistant manager, and head guards, each with their own role within the hierarchy.
