National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) Annual Conference

Description of organization: National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of public parks, recreation and conservation. Our work draws national focus to the far-reaching impact of successes generated at the local level. Leveraging their role in conservation, health and wellness, and social equity to improve their communities NRPA’s members of park and recreation professionals and advocates are 60,000 strong and represent public spaces in urban communities, rural settings and everything in between.

California Parks & Recreation Society (CPRS) Conference and Expo

Description of Organization: The CPRS Conference & Expo is one of the largest park & recreation conferences in the nation. Maryland Recreation & Parks Association (MRPA) Annual Conference

Description of Organization: The Maryland Recreation & Parks Association, Inc. (MRPA) is a non-profit, professional association affiliated with the National Recreation and Park Association.  The organization, originally founded as the Baltimore Recreation Society in 1945, is dedicated to advancing recreation and parks for all Marylanders. Hope Godwin, employed by the Baltimore City Bureau of Recreation, was the first president. In 1950, the society expanded to include recreation professionals throughout the state of Maryland and changed its name to the Maryland Recreation Society. Nevada Recreation & Parks Society (NRPS) Conference and Exhibit Hall

Description of Organization: The NRPS is a membership based 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional organization and gained affiliation with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) in 1964. NRPS has been actively supporting the development of the recreation, parks, and leisure professions from that year forward. The Society filed articles of incorporation with the State of Nevada in March 1974.  NRPS is divided into north and south districts, which operate independently. Description of Organization: Founded in 1965, the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association is a statewide voluntary organization dedicated to enriching the professional and educational opportunities available to leisure service personnel in parks, recreation, therapeutic recreation and related fields, so that they may better service the needs of their communities and or participants, and to advocate and promote the benefits of parks and leisure services to the general public.
